Is your spirit relaxed and comfortable? A troubled spirit often leads to muscular tension. Unless you are limp as a ragdoll, you have neuro-muscular tension. Regular practice with progressive relaxation will lead to enough proficiency to where you can willfully (rule) relax your entire skeletal-muscular system in 10-12 second (just enough time to take a couple deep breaths and visualize your Happy Place… ).

Intentional Relaxation: If your situation allows, it is helpful to loosen clothing and remove shoes. Remember to work from toes to scalp. If you have forgotten the technique, you can YouTube “Progressive Muscle Relaxation” for a refresher.
Tension in a certain area of the body can “dam” the body’s flow of energy. When you consciously relax that area, feel the energy that was dammed by the tension flowing to the center of your body.
Tension is a habit; relaxation is a habit. Bad habits can be broken; good habits can be formed. Act the way you want to be (relaxed) and soon you will be the way you act!
