Are you searching for a therapist who has the maturity and life experience to relate to all ages? I have many years of experience working with people of all ages. I have been described by my patients as being ‘on my level, and a real person with ‘relate-ability,’ who asks thought provoking questions, listens and pushes you to confront deep and hidden emotions.
One patient wrote, “She had a plan for me and that gave me hope.”
Therapy works – research shows that it is likely to lead to better relationships, better day to day function, solutions to specific problems, and reductions in feelings of distress.
Fees: The regular fee is 125 for 45 minutes or 140 for 60 minutes. However, the first session will require a higher fee due to the length and preparation involved. I have found that your first formal appointment is most important for your success in reaching your goals. If we agree, it will be long – about two hours, with the intent of discovering and beginning work on your internal emotional problem that you would like to work on in therapy. Close to the end of the session I will help you practice an individualized calming and coping technique that you can practice at home, so as to end the session calmly. The first session fee is 280 dollars.
The only insurance that I process currently is Medicare (Not to be confused with Medicaid), though in many cases you can submit to your insurance with my help if appropriate – I will help you make that happen. Therapy is worth the time and the price. Write to me for more information if you have more questions.
